1. About us
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services and payments with Hair By Elize, a beauty salon operating in South Africa at 26 Bompas Road, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, 2196. You can reach us on 072 374 1986 or info@hairbyelize.co.za. By booking an appointment or using our website you agree to these terms.
2. Services
We provide hair, beauty and related salon treatments in-studio, by appointment. All services are performed at our physical premises in Johannesburg. Service pricing is displayed on our website and may vary based on hair length, density, product usage and required time. A final quote is confirmed with you at consultation before any work begins.
3. Bookings & payments
Bookings can be made online, via phone or WhatsApp. Online payments are processed securely through PayFast (a licensed South African payment provider). A booking is confirmed once payment is received. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
4. Cancellations & rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may forfeit any deposit or prepayment made. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Late arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service to avoid disrupting other clients. The full booked fee may still apply.
6. Client responsibility
You are responsible for informing us of any allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, medications or previous chemical treatments that may affect the service. We reserve the right to decline or modify a treatment if we believe it may cause harm.
7. Results
While we take pride in every service, results (particularly colour work) can vary depending on the condition and history of your hair. We will always discuss realistic expectations at consultation.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Hair By Elize shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from services rendered, provided reasonable professional care has been taken.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
